Buying Digots

Just getting started in DXInOne and having trouble buying Digots? I have had several people posting questions on my forum asking about the error they get when trying to buy Digots. The error is caused because DXInOne is temporarily limiting the number of Digots allowed for sale after each 24 hour session.

So I would obviously suggest trying to buy Digots right after the session ends. To find out how long there is to go in any given session go to the Personal Tab > DXPortfolio > Summary.

The other option is to go to the Trading House and try to buy Digots put up for sale by some other DXInOne member. There are not always Digot for sale there and they are snapped up very quickly, so you may have to sit for a few moments and refresh the "Buy Digots from the Trading House" screen to find some for sale.

But I have an interesting idea. I am not sure if it will work, but I was thinking of trying to offer some of my Digots to people just getting started with DXInOne. I could offer some small quantities of Digots ($25 and $50 lots). Maybe others who have been with DXInOne for a while could do the same. 2.5 Million e-Gold Members

I was checking out some things on the Wikipedia entry for e-Gold. e-Gold is very serious about the fact that your Gold balance is 100% backed by gold in Swiss vaults. Check out the e-Gold Examinar page.

There are also so interesting statistics about e-Gold. There are over 2.5 million e-Gold accounts. 2823 people have opened accounts, and over 8.4 million U.S. dollars have been sent in just the past 24 hours. Check the e-Gold Stats page.

e-Gold really has its act together. I wish all eCurrencies were as transparant and stable.

DXInOne Information for Sale on eBay

eCurrency Evolution Forum is no longer active.

There seems to be a lull in DXInOne training and information for sale on eBay. Just recently, someone had their DXInOne account for sale. But DXIO accounts are not transferable, so I do not know what they were thinking. I did notice that it was for sale by the same person who was selling 2 DXD for 1 e-Gold or e-Bullion.

I wonder how eBooks sell on eBay anyway. I notice that eBay does not allow eBooks (information products) to be listed on their main feature page listings. That is why I believe it would be a good idea to publish an eCurrency exchange book. A 'real' book requires much more work than an eBook, but there would be many more outlets for sale of the book. (Just thinking out loud.)

Well, the main point of this post is to caution people not to waste money on eBay eBooks. I am trying to post as much info as a person would get from any $29.95 or $69.95 eBook on my forum, eCurrencyEvolution.blogspot.com. Check it out. I plan to keep it as a quality free, forum.

P4 Program -- DX PrePay Program

The P4 program was first started in 2003 by the DX Power Team, lead by Dave Bennett. I the earlier testing phases of DXGold (the former name for DXInOne), groups or teams of people could work together to process each others outXchanges. Obviously, this is not a long range profitable scheme for DXInOne, it was a way to test all aspects of their exchange system.

I am not sure what causes it, but there was a very severe slowdown in outXchanges in that initial DXGold system. It was much worse than the current outXchange log jam. Dave Bennett had an idea that would get some of the DX Power Team member's DXConsole claims flowing again. And as an added bonus the Geocities Program kick started the outXchanges. The program was called Geocities because it was promoted on a Geocities free website.

The basics of the Geocities (later PrePay or P4 Program) is that an "Investor" gives a current DXInOne member $100 of e-Gold, as an example amount. The "Investor" immediately get paid $105 in DXG, the currency of DXInOne. The DXInOne member uses the eCurrency to fund active DXConsole eCurrency exchanges, and the Investor lists and outXchange for $105, there will be a 2.55% outXchange fee, so they profit 2.45% for a few minutes of work. Not a great profit, better than a bank savings account, but if you consider that during good times, DXInOne Investors were about to outXchange up to $10,000 per week into several different eCurrencies, then you can see there could be some serious profits make from this program. Especially when you consider that P4 Investors with $1000 or more are given an instant 7.0% payment for their eCurrency trade.

DXInOne asked that the P4 program be stopped (or not promoted as much) right before they brought out their updated system in May 2005. Since then the P4 program was re-launched, but it was not marketed well, DXInOne members were charged too much by the people running the program, and there is a more serious systematic problem causing the slow outXchanges right now. When this problem is fixed, I believe the P4 program could be run successfully again. It is a great way for people who do not have a DXConsole to make a profit and boost their DXPortfolio.

Below is a snapshot of an Excel spreadsheet showing the profit of a 105% and 107% investment with $100 and $1000 over a twelve month period, assuming one outXchange per month. I believe this one outXchange per month could easily be one outXchange per week, per eCurrency (eBullion, eGold, EMO, etc.) in the upcoming year.

The profit shown below would be 35% and 69.5% profits over a one year investment, requiring a few minutes a month of work.

eCurrency Evolution Podcast

I am working (trying to find time between work and family) to produce my first eCurrency Podcast. I think it would be a good way to promote my forum, blog, and upcoming eCurrency book.

I will be looking for people to interview in the future. With services
like Skype, it is easily possible to interview people from all over the
world. I am especially interested in finding someone with some
expertise in FOREX trading, Google AdWords, and other types of online/home business
investing. It will be a situation where I can interview someone for the
podcast, we all get some new information, and they will get some
publicity for their business.

eCurrency Wikipedia Project

I am slowly working to add eCurrency definitions to the online dictionary, Wikipedia. There are a couple of eCurrencies listed, but I think that most 'popular' eCurrencies, as well as, DXInOne should be listed. I have not personally written the folling articles, just helping with accuracy. I think that this online free encyclopedia will be a good resource for unbiased eCurrency information.

Well, I took some time off web publishing to get some things into order. Now I am back and excited to be putting out information about eCurrencies and DXInOne again. This is a slow and sometimes frustrating time for those involved in the DXInOne investment, but I think there are valid structural reasons behind the slowdown. And I feel the future is positive. I want to post some of the information that I have found, past experiences, and strategies for making money in the future with DXInOne and eCurrency Exchange.
